My work in acoustics and the study of audio began back in my college days. I graduated with a BS in physics with a minor in math. During my early years in professional recording, I was mentored by Mr. Welton Jetton, my boss at Pepper-Tanner, Inc., in Memphis. I was privileged to work with him on the design and implementation of six studio facilities for the company. I continued my work in the 80's with a partner under the masthead of "E/F and Associates". Together we designed, supervised, and in some cases, built six studio facilities in and around the Dallas area. After Jim's death, I have continued to work on various facilities and projects.

In recent years, I have been involved in a consulting capacity for seven sound stages, nine churches, several studio facilities, and a number of environmental sound studies for various clients.

I have acquired a number of specialized tools used for sound measurement. I also have several software programs, some of which I have written, to complement and process the results of my acoustic tests.

From time to time I will update this area with new pictures and information which I hope will be of interest to my guests. If you are in need of acoustical testing, sound measurements, design, environmental studies, or one of the many other associated areas of sound, please contact me and I'll be happy to discuss your project at no cost to you.

INMOTION IMAGERY called on me to consult about  improvements for their sound stages. Acoustical testing is but one of several processes needed to offer working solutions to existing problems.
